POST-GRADUATION CONFESSIONS
i guess it's been many months since i've blogged and well, today, i feel like removing some cobwebs i've accumulated. i just graduated from AJ yesterday which was 13 October 2006. funny thing how my (ex-)school had a knack for choosing the wrong dates... (e.g. prelims on Sept 11 and grad on Friday the 13th)... hate to admit it but, i really miss AJ despite suffering from 2 years of the uncomfortable and dull uniform. in fact, i miss all my memories in AJ so much i feel like doing a little tribute entry...
{ FAREWELL EVE }the last assembly.

our last assembly... how it has always been... (cept for the fact that i didn't complete my econs case)... well as usual, refusing the stand up n get ready for flag raising.
shu and kong... inseparable even until the last day...

xixi and zizi... sweet as ever (: what else can i say?
and in case you're wondering where's pipi? well she's the photographer. for once, i actually sang the national anthem. sometimes you just don't treasure certain things until it's gone... i know it's weird to say this but, i actually feel weird knowing that it'll be my last time singing the national anthem and tho one can claim i can always sing it like during national day again... it's just different...
the last showering session after pe.

{ FAREWELL DAY }
i stepped into the hall and this thought came into my mind: i've never thought this day will come. not in an elated way, but i just felt that i've been a student for all my life, jc was the toughest years but also at the same time the happiest years of my life. and suddenly, school life ends now, ends today... u know i've been wearing school uniforms for 12 years, that day was the last day i ever touch one... sadly, i feel a void in me. i told xixi today y we pobably feel so down after graduation... we've been permanently removed from our comfort zone (school) and suddenly shoved into reality... we're on our own... we're no long AJ students, we're just candidates for A'levels... doesn't it feel strange, cold and distant now that school isn't around any more? guess i have only memories to fall back on.... so here's how it was during the farewell ceremony.... i must compliment the teachers of AJ... i know they are smart and responsible... but it never occurred to me how creative the teachers were!!! the maths department changing Beyonce's Crazy In Love to something totally hilarious and full of awesome spoofiness! like a total musical on stage!!! the science teachers are great as well! i've never seen such an interesting video using various mysterious science demonstrations to bring out their messages to us! here's some pictures....
the farewell ceremony.

the last
moments....

Ms Zhu gave everyone in the class this book by Dr Suess... OH, THE PLACES YOU'LL GO... a simple and inspiring book... it was devastating... almost everyone in class cried while reading the book... ms zhu cried too seeing us so upset... what touched me the most was the individual messages she wrote for us all... nothing is more precious than her well-wishes... I just want to say that Ms Zhu has been the best form teacher i've ever had in all my 18 years... she understands our needs very well and she's very sincere and responsible and approachable... and above all, she loves us... she really does and we love her too... it's sad that we have to leave eventually and that day caught up with us sooner than expected... still, thank you ms zhu for all that you've done... in turn, we gave her a close to one year's supply of candy... since she has done much sweet things for us, it is time we give our
s to her x infinity!

When we reach

Know inside
We can make it
We're all in this together
Once we see
